Innovative Conversion of the VW Caddy Maxi Hybrid from MobiTEC GmbH & Co. KG

MobiTEC GmbH & Co. KG is proud to present the innovative conversion of the VW Caddy Maxi Hybrid with a lowered floor, making us the only company in Europe offering this solution.

The conversion features lowered floor, measuring 1375 mm in length and 865 mm in width, providing a spacious entry height and interior height of 1420 mm for the wheelchair user. The standard fuel tank is replaced with a custom-made 38-liter tank to accommodate the modifications.

Notably, the conversion has passed all necessary tests and has already received the "Letter of No Objection" (LONO) from Volkswagen, further underscoring the safety and quality of the modifications. This ensures that the conversion meets the manufacturer's stringent standards.

For the wheelchair user's safety, MobiTEC employs its in-house developed wheelchair restraint system, the "BeltTEC" brand, manufactured in our own facility. Additionally, the VW Caddy Maxi Hybrid can be upgraded with our foldable swivel seats, transforming it into a 7-seater for maximum flexibility. Naturally, the conversion is also available with a taxi ramp, allowing it to be used as a wheelchair-accessible taxi for professional transport services.
