Q'Straint specialise in the design, engineering and manufacture of Wheelchair Tie-Downs & Occupant Restraint Systems (WTORS).

Having traded for more than 30 years, Q'Straint now distributes its products in over 50 countries worldwide and offer a range of innovative and universal securement systems to suit virtually all vehicles, wheelchairs and their users with the minimum of fuss.

In February 2014 Q'Straint launched its "iQ Research Centre of Excellence" which houses a state of the art HYGE™ crash simulation system. This represents a ground breaking investment by Q'Straint in the future development of new technologies for the mobility securement solutions industry. The research carried out will present the opportunity for new technologies to be developed and applied, delivering the next generation of wheelchair restraints for passenger vehicles and specialist solutions to public transport challenges for bus and rail operators.

Examples of some of Q'Straint’s ground breaking new technologies can be seen in the QRT-550E retractors, designed to secure heavy wheelchairs of up to 200kg and the Quantum, the transportation industry's first fully automatic rear-facing wheelchair securement station.

With passenger safety as our foremost priority, Q'Straint securement systems have exceeded the dynamic test requirements of ISO 10542 standards to ensure that wheelchair passengers can be transported in complete safety.
