AMF-Bruns introduces new Citroën Berlingo
At RehaCare in Düsseldorf, AMF-Bruns will present the new Citroën Berlingo as wheelchair accessible vehicle. It is a model of the French PSA Group and is identical with Peugeot Partner and Opel Combo. The short wheelbase Berlingo/Partner/Combo is finally available – the long wheelbase will be available in late autumn. Both variants offer the possibility for the conversion with AMF-Bruns rear cut floor. AMF-Bruns converts with the European type-approval.
The Berlingo with short wheelbase is equipped with three AMF-Bruns Smartseats and offers space for five people (or four people and one wheelchair). The most important advantage is the removable middle seat in the second row, which can – thanks to a quick-release closure – easily slide forwards. That gives space for small wheelchairs, without taking the middle seat out. For large wheelchairs, the middle seat can be simply removed.
Two optional tip & fold seats in the third row allow flexible use of the Berlingo with long wheelbase for seven people or alternatively five persons and one wheelchair.
World premiere will be the IAA press days at Citroën’s booth (hall 13, booth C64) and the RehaCare trade fair at the booth of AMF-Bruns (hall 6, booth B82). AMF-Bruns also will show a Volkswagen T6 and Mercedes-Benz V-Class with cassette lift K70 and linear lift AL1 as well as a Toyota Proace and Volkswagen Caddy with rear cut floor.
