During the first evening of Journey to the Future, Autoadapt celebrated their most industrious colleagues. The ones who go above and beyond in every aspect of vehicle adaptation.

Best use of Promotion & Marketing
The best at communicating the possibilities of vehicle adaptation. We want to award the role models and creators of good communication, those who work to find new ways to reach their potential customers.
Winner:
Etac Bil, Norway started the event called “Kjøredag Gardermoen”, a test driving day where all suppliers and decision-makers are invited. The event is also open for end users. Etac has managed to create a meeting place for the people who are involved in end user adaptations.

Category:
For your Independence
This is about living up to Autoadapt’s payoff. The level of service given to customers, opening hours, dedicated waiting rooms, performing free service. In short, improve customer’s independence.
Winner:
Pimas, France has come up with their own assistance service program. The program is offered to all their adaptation customers. How does this sound? 24-hour break-down service, guaranteed service within one hour, and if the customer takes a taxi to a nearby hotel, Pimas pays for the taxi and hotel.

Most unexpected
The name really says it all, these are the unexpected adaptations. Made by those who had their head outside the box.
Winner:
Daily Mobility, Italy adapted a rescue vehicle with a Turny Evo and created a really smooth installation. Something that shows that Autoadapt products can be used in many different areas, in this case in the medical area.

Committed to the Cause
Work that is a benefit to society and has the purpose of affecting and improving the situation for people with disabilities. Activities and questions that increase awareness of the situation of people with limited mobility.
Winner:
Office Shimizu, Japan makes an impact in Japanese traffic safety using the Driver Test Station. Even though they are a small business, Office Shimizu has managed to influence the authorities to work with preventive road safety to minimize traffic accidents caused by the elderly.

Keep your lifestyle
Those that go that extra mile to solve a problem or realize a dream. We want to show that function is just as important as appearance in order for a customer to be able to keep their hobby or lifestyle.
Winner:
Handicare, Norway made it possible for their customer Otto to keep his lifestyle and profession as a lorry driver.
Despite severe disabilities, Otto can now drive his adapted truck across Europe.
